🎨 Color-Preserving CRT Mode (Z Key)

Press Z to toggle the experimental Geometry→Beam CRT hybrid mode, which now intelligently separates color from brightness:

The C-240 geometry engine controls color (hue and saturation)

The CRT phosphor simulation controls brightness (with authentic decay and scanline banding)

Creates a more authentic analog look where colors stay vibrant even as phosphor decays

Watch the blocky scanline artifacts appear during slow envelope changes while maintaining beautiful color transitions

🔊 Auto-Gain Feature (G Key)

New G key provides intelligent audio leveling:

Automatically adjusts input gain to bring quiet audio to optimal visual dynamic range

Keeps your GAIN-L/R knobs in their current positions (doesn't max them out!)

Acts like a "smart preamp" - perfect for dealing with low-volume sources

Press multiple times to fine-tune the level

Reset with A key (Reset C-240 Controls)

Shows current gain multiplier on-screen (e.g., "AUTO GAIN: 2.34x")

🌐 Complete OSC Integration

All keyboard shortcuts now have OSC equivalents for TouchOSC control:

/toggle/bloom - Phosphor bloom (B key)

/toggle/scanlines - Scanline mode (S key)

/toggle/fps - FPS display (D key)

/toggle/test_audio - Test audio generator (T key)

/toggle/contour_experimental - Experimental contour mode (E key)

/toggle/geom_beam - Geometry→Beam CRT mode (Z key)

/reset/c240 - Reset C-240 controls (A key)

/auto_gain - Auto-gain adjustment (G key)

All toggles use thread-safe GUI calls, so remote control is rock-solid.

🎚️ Enhanced Help Overlay

Updated help screen (H key) now documents all features including the new G and Z key functions.

Technical Notes:

This is an experimental branch testing improvements to the CONTOUR knob behavior

Input gain multiplier is persistent and compounds with each press of G

CRT beam mode uses per-pixel hue extraction and phosphor brightness composition

All changes fully backwards-compatible with existing settings files
